UAE Team Emirates – XRG, the top-ranked team in the peloton,
has revealed its line up for
Milano - Torino and the midweek Belgian classics. The
Emirati squad will take on three semi-classics in Belgium, starting with Danilith
Nokere Koerse on 19 March, followed by Gran Prix de Denain on 20 March, and
concluding with the Bredene Koksijde Classic on 21 March. Meanwhile, in Italy,
the team will race in the historic Milano-Torino on 19 March.
Fabio Baldato will serve as Sports Director for the Belgian
classics, while Marco Marzano will lead the team in Italy, ensuring the squad
is well-prepared across both vastly different routes.
For the Belgian races, UAE Team Emirates will field a versatile
squad that includes a mix of seasoned riders and young talent. Filippo
Baroncini, Mikkel Bjerg, Sebastian Molano, Rui Oliveira, and Florian Vermeersch
bring experience and depth, while Luca Giami and Gibbe Staes represent the next
generation of riders making their mark in the pro ranks.
At Milano-Torino, the team features a strong blend of
climbers and all-rounders, with Igor Arrieta, Alessandro Covi,
Isaac Del Toro,
Julius Johansen, Vegard Stake Laengen, and
Adam Yates leading the charge. Enea
Sambinello, another rising talent, will be looking to gain valuable experience
alongside some of the team’s most established names.
