The queen stage of the Tour of Slovenia had the expected outcome, as UAE Team Emirates comfortably rode to the stage and race win atop the climb to Velika planina, as Rafal Majka crossed the line first.
The duo rode away from the peloton with five kilometers to go, with no competition able to follow the wheel. Majka set the pace for most of the climb, and the duo had time to comfortably celebrate their way into the finish line. Pogacar finished second, whilst Fernando Barceló finished the stage in third place.
