At the same time another three WorldTour teams will give their development teams a chance to taste the atmosphere of top-level racing in United Kingdom, as the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale, Groupama - FDJ, and Lidl-Trek Future Racing all make a debut in the British stage race.
Among the UCI ProTeams scheduled to ride are two former stage winners in the race, Norway’s Uno-X Mobility, who won in Gloucester in 2023 with Ramus Tiller, and the Israel - Premier Tech team, who last raced in Britain in 2022 when they won the opening stage of the race with Kiwi rider Corbin Strong. Last but not least to join the ProTeams party will be Q36.5 Pro Cycling with Damien Howson defending a third spot overall from last year.
Home fans will have the chance to cheer on a Great Britain national team or the two home Continental Teams. Next to the British teams (Trinity Racing and Saint Piran), five more teams from France (Van Rysel - Roubaix), Luxembourg (Global 6 United), Germany (REMBE Pro Cycling Team Sauerland), Portugal (Sabgal / Anicolor), United States (Project Echelon Racing) will make an appearance in UK at the beginning of September.
Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain race director Rod Ellingworth said in an official
press release: "We are excited by the line-up of teams for this year’s Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain, and the combination of squads that will be lining up on 3 September. Many of the teams have enjoyed previous success with stage wins and overall victories in the race, while others making their debut will be keen to add their names to the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men roll of honour this year. We are sure that fans can look forward to six thrilling days of action, and we can’t wait to see all of the teams in action next month."
