Jonas Vingegaard on stage 2 of the 2026 Tour de France
The 2026 Tour de France classifications will shift across three weeks of racing, from the Grand Départ in Barcelona on 4 July to the final stage in Paris on 26 July. Across time trials, sprint stages, breakaway opportunities and the high mountains, each day can alter the shape of the race for yellow and the Tour’s other major jerseys.
This live classifications hub is updated after each stage of the 2026 Tour de France with the latest General Classification, Points Classification, Mountains Classification and Best Young Rider standings. As the race develops, it tracks the key movements in the fight for the yellow jersey, green jersey, polka-dot jersey and white jersey.
The General Classification remains the central battle of the Tour, but the wider standings often tell their own stories as the race moves through different terrain. Sprint stages can reshape the points competition, mountain days can transform the polka-dot jersey fight, and the white jersey battle can change quickly when young contenders are tested across repeated days of pressure.
With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.

General Classification Standings after Stage 2

Jonas Vingegaard keeps yellow after stage 2, but Tadej Pogacar has already cut the gap to just six seconds after taking bonus seconds in Barcelona.
Remco Evenepoel also moves up to third overall at 15 seconds, while stage winner Isaac del Toro climbs to fourth at 16 seconds, giving UAE Team Emirates – XRG two riders in the top four after their Montjuic one-two.
The biggest GC message is that the main favourites all survived the first road-stage selection, but the hierarchy has already tightened behind Vingegaard. Paul Seixas climbs to sixth at 42 seconds after recovering from his bike-change drama, Romain Gregoire moves into the top 10, and Tom Pidcock rises to 10th at one minute. Further back, Mathieu van der Poel drops to 15th after losing contact on the final climb, while Davide Piganzoli slips from seventh to 17th.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 2

Stage 2 has immediately brought the points classification to life, with Isaac del Toro taking the first green jersey lead after his victory in Barcelona. UAE Team Emirates – XRG were the big winners, with Del Toro on 30 points and Tadej Pogacar already up to 25 after finishing second.
Alex Molenaar also made his breakaway count, moving second in the standings on 25 points after winning the intermediate sprint, while Remco Evenepoel and Jonas Vingegaard both opened their accounts strongly by finishing inside the top four on the stage. With Molenaar, Felix Engelhardt, Frank van den Broek and Biniam Girmay all scoring from the break/sprint battles, the classification already has a mixed look rather than being a pure sprinters’ table.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 2

Alex Molenaar also leaves stage 2 with the polka-dot jersey after making the early break count on the Cote de Begues. The Caja Rural - Seguros RGA rider took five points on the first categorised climb of the 2026 Tour, putting him clear of Brandon McNulty, who moved onto four points after his huge UAE turn in the Montjuic finale.
Felix Engelhardt sits third on three points after joining Molenaar in the break, while Tobias Halland Johannessen, Frank van den Broek and Tadej Pogacar are also already on the board. It gives Molenaar both a tangible reward for the day’s early aggression and Caja Rural a podium moment after animating the first road stage in Spain.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 2

Isaac del Toro also takes over the white jersey after his stage 2 victory, moving ahead of Juan Ayuso at the top of the young rider classification. The pair are level on time, but Del Toro’s Barcelona win gives UAE Team Emirates – XRG another jersey after a dominant day on Montjuic.
Paul Seixas sits third after fighting back from his bike-change scare, with Romain Gregoire fourth and Lenny Martinez fifth. The classification already looks stacked, with Del Toro, Ayuso, Seixas, Gregoire and Martinez all inside the top 10 overall after the first road stage.

Teams Classification Standings after Stage 2

UAE Team Emirates – XRG also take control of the team classification after their stage 2 domination, jumping from fifth to first after putting Isaac del Toro and Tadej Pogacar first and second on the day. They now lead Netcompany INEOS by 21 seconds, with Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe third at 1:20.
EF Education – EasyPost move up to fourth after a solid collective day, while Lidl-Trek slip one place to fifth despite Juan Ayuso remaining high on GC. It underlines the scale of UAE’s Barcelona performance: stage win, second place, two riders in the top four overall, the white jersey and now the lead in the team standings.
