Tom Pidcock will be aiming at success at Milano-Sanremo and the Tour des Flandres this spring, between other races, and his full racing calendar until April has been revealed.
Het Nieuwsblad reports that the reigning cyclocross champion, after completing his off-season winter stint, is taking time to properly prepare for the spring - something which he has often played off. His first outing on the road with the INEOS Grenadiers team will be at the Volta ao Algarve in mid-February.
He will be present at the opening weekend with the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad being his first cobbled race, with Pidcock aiming at success in the cobbles over the sprint. Strade Bianche and Milano-Sanremo will see him as a great contender, with Tirreno-Adriatico inserted inbetween
In anticipation for the Tour des Flandres which will be his prime objective of the spring, Pidcock will race Dwars door Vlaanderen. It's unknown if he will be racing in the Ardennes classics however at the time being all signs point towards complete focus in this block of racing.
