Jumbo-Visma have announced their lineup for the upcoming
Clasica San Sebastian where they will be looking for a strong result in the aftermath of a brilliant Tour de France where they were the overwhelmingly victorious team.
The team will be led by
Tiesj Benoot who has served a key support role during the Tour. The likes of
Gijs Leemreize,
Tom Dumoulin and
Chris Harper will also be outsiders for what is frequently an open race, set to take place in the hills of the Basque Country where puncheurs and climbers all stand a chance to fight for a strong outcome.
The team was initially expected to include both Wout van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard, but the plans were changed last minute. Whilst the Danish rider has returned to his home country where
he was received by massive roaring crowds, the Belgian has reportedly gotten sick and won't be traveling back to Spain, and will instead focus on recovery - albeit still being scheduled to race a post-Tour crit this weekend.
