Strade Bianche: Greg van Avermaet and Andrea Vendrame lead AG2R Citroën Team

AG2R Citroën are having their classics riders gear up for Strade Bianche, as Greg van Avermaet and Andrea Vendrame lead the team at the Italian race with the aims of getting results within the Top10.

The Belgian has finished on two occasions in second spot and on eight different occasions in the Top10 - the latter in 2020 - a very consistent run. After the peak of his career, van Avermaet looks to regain his position there. The French team will be protecting him and Andrea Vendrame for a result.

Cyclocross specialist Clément Venturini will also be an interesting card to play for AG2R. The lineup is completed by Valentin Paret-Peintre, Valentin Retailleau and experienced classics rider Michael Schär.
