Soudal – Quick-Step have confirmed their lineup for the
races, but they will still be without Remco Evenepoel. The double Olympic
champion is continuing his recovery from injuries sustained in a freak accident
last year, delaying his return to competition.
Additionally, the team faces a new challenge in the classics
campaign without Julian Alaphilippe. The two-time world champion, a key figure
in their past successes, departed over the winter to join Tudor Pro Cycling, which
is a big shift for the Belgian squad as they look to re-establish themselves in
the classics.
