Results Andorra Cycling Masters 2025 | Pogacar and Vingegaard defeated as Roglic wins time trial and Del Toro the criterium

This Sunday the 19th of October sees quite a bit of UCI races closing out the season in Europe and Asia when it comes to top events, but over in the Pyrenees, the micronation of Andorra has hosted a mountain time trial and criterium featuring only Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard, Primoz Roglic and Isaac del Toro.
The mountain time trial was won by Roglic, taking place early in the morning at a time where the riders had arrived in the area for a few hours only. This is an exhibition race, with the footage being used to make a Netflix documentary set to promote Andorra as a sports and cycling-focused nation.
After the mountain time trial up to Collada de la Galina took place, the riders then had a short urban criterium in Andorra-la-Vella, where Isaac del Toro beat Primoz Roglic in the final sprint. Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard did not win either of the events, although certainly this was outlined as is the case with the post-Tour de France criteriums.

- This guy probably never noticed that cycling changed - in his time there were no 'real climbers' like we have today. Most of the podiums in his times - no matter if Tour de Suisse or Giro - were occupied by guys like him - 70kg+ of pure mass. Today it is impossible and average mass of climbing winners dropped by 10kg. - Chris Froome won Four Tour de France and he won them clean. Israel Premier Tech signed him on the strength of that no one put their arm up their back, and they CHOSE to pay him a huge salary. Chris then suffered a near-death crash that changed his ability forever, much like Egan Bernal, who was also paid a huge sum by INEOS and has never recovered his form due to the terrible injuries he suffered. Was that his fault any more than Chris Froomes' crash was his, or do people want teams to simply throw riders out when they cannot race any longer, like ex-racing Greyhounds?
