From the 15th to the 22nd of June we have one of the year's most special and most difficult stage-races. The final World Tour race before the Tour de France, it is the
Tour de Suisse. We take a look at how the
prize money will be distributed throughout the race.
The total prize money for the race is of €130.000 which comes together as the sum of all classifications and stage results. The winner of the overall classification takes home €16.000 whilst each stage winner wins €4000, with the first 20 riders across the line and in the GC each day take some sort of financial reward. The winners of the points and KOM classifications win €2000.
Furthermore, the daily leader of the race receives €300 as a reward.
