From the 20th to the 24th of August, the World Tour peloton returns to the Benelux, but not for one-day races this time around, but instead some high-octane stage-racing. The
Renewi Tour often provides opportunities for the classics specialists, sprinters and time-trialists to all battle for quality results. Here's the
prize money that will be handed out.
The total prize money for the race is of €89.100 which comes together as the sum of all classifications and stage results. The winner of the overall classification takes home €10.000 whilst each stage winner wins €4000, with the first 20 riders across the line and in the GC each day take some sort of financial reward.
Unlike most races the Renewi Tour does not have a KOM classification, but that is replaced here with the combativity classification. The first three riders in the final AND daily standings of the Points, Youth and Combativity classifications get some financial reward for it; Whilst the first three teams in the Teams classification also get rewarded.
