From the 7th to the 11th of September the women's peloton will be going through the roads of Spain as they tackle the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta, one of the most important races in the calendar, which is raced alongside the men's Vuelta a Espana.
The opening stage of the race will be a team time-trial in the region Cantabria, which will be an important day for the overall classification as differences are guaranteed to be created and in 19.9 kilometers there can be quite some differences. The loop is not technical and features very fast roads in which the specialists can put down the power.
