Who will win the 2024 Velo d'Or?
To anyone suggesting they truly believe someone other than Pog should win this award... give over! Remco and MVDP were awesome but Pog had one of the greatest seasons in history.
who? who? whooooo! oh... Terrible doubts keep me from sleeping! come on... it's absolutely obvious (and deserved) who will win: the best season in the cycling history, even Eddy did not do better...
Only MVdP! The most versatile cyclist of the current times. 3x podium of World Championships in single year - is there anybody even close to him?
🥇 Tadej Pogacar 🇸🇮 🥈 Remco Evenepoel 🇧🇪 🥉 Mathieu Van Der Poel 🇳🇱
yup, that sounds right to me, too. last year i felt like should have been mathieu but seemed as if they just give velo d’or to whoever wins the tour, regardless. this year it’s ALL pogačar. remco’s gold medal sweep was so special he deserves to be recognized for it. maybe some year van der poel will win msr, flanders, roubaix, a couple tdf stages, AND another world road title. that oughta do it.
Yes, pretty good chance of that though it’s kind of insulting to MVDP who has done so much for making cycling about more than just road racing that he’s only ever been nominated to the top 3 once so far but they can’t let him win this year.
Is there any doubt? With a season of Merckxian proportions, it has to be Pogi
