Peter Sagan headlines TotalEnergies' lineup for E3 Saxo Classic

TotalEnergies has disclosed the names of their riders for the E3 Saxo Classic race, with Peter Sagan selected as their top contender and Anthony Turgis as the backup choice.
Sagan has a strong track record in the Flemish cobblestone classic, having finished second in 2013 and 2016, and winning the race in 2014. He started the season on a positive note at Vuelta a San but has slipped behind in terms of result.
As the reserve rider, Turgis has been picked due to his decent showing in the Milano-Sanremo event where he finished 9th. The team's squad for the race also features Dries Van Gestel, Daniel Oss, Thomas Bonnet, Sandy Dujardin, and Geoffrey Soupe.
