Netherlands lead the way with most different winners at World Tour level in 2023

2023 saw a number of different riders take victories on the road. Leading the way in the list of most different winners at World Tour level in 2023 is the Netherlands with 10 different riders tasting success.
Mathieu van der Poel and Olav Kooij both managed to secure themselves three wins including most notably, the World Championship road race in Glasgow. Behind them, both Wout Poels and Milan Vader took a pair of victories, both Poels' coming in Grand Tours at the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana whilst Fabio Jakobsen, Dylan Groenewegen, Dylan van Baarle, Ide Schelling, Marijn van den Berg and Mike Teunissen all taking a win apiece.
Other nations to have had impressive years include Italy, with nine different winners, Denmark with eight different winners and Belgium, Great Britain and France all securing victories with seven different riders during the year.
