Lorena Wiebes offers her Tour de France special jerseys in a fundraiser for seriously injured Ukrainian cyclist

If you've ever dreamed of wearing (or at least owning) a Tour de France Femmes yellow or green jersey, Lorena Wiebes provides an opportunity. The Dutch cyclist provides her special jerseys worn during the most recent edition inlcuding bib numbers in an auction whose proceeds will be donated to the fundraising campaign for Anna Kolyzhuk.
The 22-year-old Kolyzhuk races primarily for the UCI's World Cycling Center Team, which supports talented cyclists when they cannot get that support in their own country. The Ukrainian is a decorated cyclist mainly on track where she scored multiple top results including World Championship medals.
However, a serious crash during a six-day track race in Italy has turned Kolyzhuk's life upside down. Due to the severe back injury and the surgery, intensive rehabilitation now awaits her. She requires personal guidance during this time, and her daily life will look completely different.
The fundraiser is managed by fellow Ukrainian track national cyclist Matvey Ushakov who coordinates the auction alongside his sister, UAE Development Team rider Milana Ushakova.

The target amount is 100,000 Swiss francs, because not all necessary assistance is covered by insurance. The auction takes place on a special Vinted page. The kits are currently valued at €2,000.
