LIVE Paris-Tours 2026: Trentin, Philipsen, Merlier and De Lie set for explosive battle in season finale
Cycling
The 2026 Paris-Tours takes place today, the day after Il Lombardia, bringing the curtain down on the season’s major one-day races. The oldest one-day race on the calendar, Paris-Tours is known for its explosive racing and gravel sectors, where sprinters and classics specialists will have to balance patience with aggression. Jasper Philipsen, Tim Merlier, Arnaud De Lie, Dorian Godon, Christophe Laporte and Soren Waerenskjold are among the riders who could contest a sprint, while defending champion Matteo Trentin and attackers such as Per Strand Hagenes, Romain Grégoire, Jonas Abrahamsen, Fred Wright, Paul Lapeira and Riley Sheehan may try to make the race more selective. Follow all the attacks, gravel-sector action and key developments from Paris-Tours 2026 live below.

- Rather than me describing the technology at length on here, If you google. Line-scan cameras. They are also sometimes called Slit-Scan cameras. Either search will fill you in. You can read all about how they. work. Enjoy! Just to be clear the cyclist is saying he wants to see exactly where the digital finish line is in relation to the actual physical finish. At this point we only have the word of the authority that the digital line corresponds to the exact starting edge of the physical finish line. That seems like a reasonable request to me.Prorodsandstuff11-10-2026
