Jury & Fines Tour de France 2023 stage 17

The 17th stage of the Tour de France was a brutal day, with Felix Gall winning the stage from a GC-packed breakaway, Jonas Vingegaard taking minutes on Tadej Pogacar who suffered heavily on the Col de la Loze.

The jury have taken the following decisions on stage 17:

Motorbike nº312 (France Télévisions, Thomas Voeckler): Non-compliance with press specifications before the summit of the Col de la Loze. Exclusion from stage 18, 500CHF fine for Voeckler and driver.

EF Education-EasyPost DS Juan Manuel Garate: Soigneurs in the middle of the road. 500CHF fine.
EF Education-EasyPost soigneur Plaince Kier: Exclusion for stage 18.

Lawson Craddock (Team Jayco AlUla): Disposing waste outside designated areas. 500CHF fine and 25 points penalization in UCI rankings.

Vegard Stake Laengen (UAE Team Emirates): 'Sticky Bottle'. 200CHF fine.

UAE Team Emirates DS Andrej Hauptman: 'Sticky Bottle'. 200CHF fine.

Pello Bilbao (Bahrain - Victorious): Innapropriate behaviour towards a spectator. Official warning.
