Jasper Philipsen targets Milano-Sanremo, Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix - Kaden Groves and Soren Kragh Andersen also aim for cobbled classics

Alpecin-Deceuninck have presented the spring calendar of all it's leaders this afternoon. Mathieu van der Poel is leading the team in the cobbled classics, and he will have the pleasure of teaming up with Jasper Philpsen, Kaden Groves and Soren Kragh Andersen.

Philipsen is racing an almost full cobbled classics campaign; racing each of the main events except for the E3 Saxo Classic. This means he will be at both Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix - he was the runner-up in the latter. Philipsen starts his season at the Opening Weekend and will also race Tirreno-Adriatico, the Classic Brugge - De Panne and Amstel Gold Race which will also be an interesting challenge for the Belgian sprinter.

The team has also shared schedules of Kaden Groves and Soren Kragh Andersen. The Australian sprinter will aim for Paris-Nice and Volta a Catalunya as lead sprinter before also aiming for the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix - among other races that will likely suit him best.

As for Soren Kragh Andersen, the main classics specialist to follow van der Poel this spring, he will not be present at Paris-Roubaix as he aims for Amstel Gold Race and Liège-Bastogne-Liége with some ambition, but his main goals lie in the Flandrien classics. Paris-Nice, Milano-Sanremo and the Tour of Flanders are all in his schedule. Axel Laurance and Quinten Hermans will also target the Ardennes classics; the under-23 World Champion will also be part of the team's Milano-Sanremo lineup.
