Israel take stage-winning ambitions onto Vuelta a Espana with Woods, Froome and Bevin at the helm

Israel - Premier Tech have announced their lineup for the upcoming Vuelta a Espana, where stage wins should be the absolute priority, and the team will be seeking big points in order to help their maintenance at World Tour level.

Chris Froome will be returning to competition after having to abandon the Tour de France with Covid-19, and will be an interesting rider to follow through the three weeks as he fights to return to as strong form as possible. Michael Woods followed a similar path at the Tour, and will be perhaps the team's best option for a stage win - although a GC tilt is also possible.

Patrick Bevin will be a strong rider for the hilly days and punchy finishes, whilst on the pure bunch sprint days the team will be backing up Itamar Einhorn. Daryl Impey has won a stage at the Tour de Suisse and he will be pursuing similar ambitions here, with a wide set of hilly days suited to his skillset.

The team will also have Alessandro De Marchi who will be chasing wins, as a former specialist in the art of breakaways. Omer Goldstein and Carl Fredrik Hagen come in with similar ambitions, as two more cards for the mountainous days where the escapee groups stand a chance.

Israel - Premier Tech for Vuelta a Espana: Chris Froome, Patrick Bevin, Alessandro De Marchi, Itamar Einhorn, Omer Goldstein, Carl Fredrik Hagen, Daryl Impey and Michael Woods.
