INEOS Grenadiers reported to have secured Tom Pidcock for 2023

A lot of transfer talk has been happening in the backstage at INEOS Grenadiers, as some of their very talented riders have been linked with other teams. Tom Pidcock was one of them, but INEOS are putting their cards on the table early on to secure the multi-disciplinary talent.

After rumours emerged in early February that "a leading American bike manufacturer" was preparing an offer on Tom Pidcock, INEOS Grenadiers have balanced the scale and are reported now to have made an offer, in which both Cyclingnews and Gazetta dello Sport understand that it has been accepted.

Details are not yet public, but it is likely that soon there will be an announcement that the Briton's stay with the British team will be prolonged. Pidcock has started his road season at the Volta ao Algarve and the opening weekend where he was clearly building some form, nevertheless was happy with where he was at.

He was set to start this weekend's Strade Bianche but a stomach virus has come in the way, he will now be eyeing Milano-Sanremo as his next race.
