Rumours emerge over Tom Pidcock's stay at INEOS Grenadiers

After an incredibly successful start to his career at Elite level, it has been noticed that Tom Pidcock is currently on the transfer market and has interested from rival teams already.

It has been understood by VeloNews that there is interest from "a leading American bike manufacturer" who is rumoured to be preparing an offer to the INEOS Grenadiers rider.

Giant, Specialized, Cannondale and Trek are all based in the USA, but it would make the most logic that the latter is the one who is reportedly having this interest, taking into account it's the only of the brands mentioned to have a title sponsor investment in a team, Trek - Segafredo.

The validity of this assumption is not absolute, the same as to be said about the chances of Pidcock leaving the British team, who should have full interest in keeping the Leeds native.

After becoming XCO Olympic champion and cyclocross World champion at just 22, Pidcock is one of the most unique and valuable riders that has been in the peloton for the last few decades. The British rider has also won Brabantse Pijl this year in front of Wout van Aert, and has been in the fight for the win at Strade Bianche, Amstel Gold Race, Flèche Wallone and the World championships whilst combining several disciplines.

He is set to have a loaded spring tackling the cobbled and Ardennes classics before his debut at the Giro d'Italia.
