After being involved in a crash that also saw the
INEOS Grenadiers duo
Geraint Thomas and
Tao Geoghegan Hart hit the deck,
Primoz Roglic has reassured that he his feeling fine and still fighting for the Maglia Rosa.
"You can see that the pants are a bit damaged," the
Jumbo-Visma leader pointed out in a post-stage interview. "I'm going to take a shower in a bit, I'm still there," he adds with a smile.
Although the Maglia Rosa, Geraint Thomas was also able to quickly recover a rejoin the peloton, Tao Geoghegan Hart wasn't quite so lucky. The former Giro winner who had started the day sitting third in the general classification left the race in an ambulance with Roglic's Jumbo-Visma teammate Koen Bouwman revealing the Brit thought he had broken his leg.
