There are two sides to every story. The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. He does seem to be bit hard to work with. As a rider I've always thought that he aimed too high (talked a good talk) and was middling at best with occasional flashes of form.
Tibo slaved on his last TDF for Gaudu's 10th place. Then Demare situation where he got pushed out was also bad
He seems like a horrible person in real life. He did similar thing to Arnaud Démare.
You can spit on people, shoot at cats, dope, break your contracts or promises, do what you want, it will never be as criticised as writing your opinions or unpopular stuff on forums, people know their own priorities.
I know, I was replying to him. I have never criticized him. I think he replied to the wrong person. I saw the long thread of argument in another article. I wasn't involved in any argument with him.
He does that to everyone. Makes wild assumptions and accusations without base for the sake of fighting. Constructs a straw man, attacks it with some ad hominem in there, and thinks it provokes stimulating debate. The guy isn’t worth your time.
So you misunderstood, I was agreeing with you that he should be criticised but as you see from replies here, nobody cares about serious stuff, everyone is more concerned about what I wrote, even hypocritically pushing I was the one who misunderstood. Now I’ll probably get accused of setting it all up.
No problem at all, happens to us all :-) always best to clear things up before they get worse.
