General Classification Standings after Stage 14

Stage 14 has finally turned the Giro d’Italia general classification into Jonas Vingegaard’s race. After more than a week of chasing Afonso Eulalio, the Team Visma | Lease a Bike leader now sits in the Maglia Rosa with a two miute 26-second advantage over the Bahrain Victorious rider. Eulalio limited the damage better than it first looked when he cracked on Pila, but the pink jersey has finally changed shoulders.
Felix Gall also comes out of the day well. He moves up to third overall at 2:50, keeping himself firmly in the podium battle after riding his own tempo behind Vingegaard. Thymen Arensman slips one place to fourth at 3:03, losing ground after his big time-trial gain earlier in the week.
Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe had a stronger GC day than recent illness concerns might have suggested. Jai Hindley rises to fifth at 3:43, while Giulio Pellizzari climbs three places to sixth at 4:22 after surviving deep into the final climb. Michael Storer is seventh at 4:46.
Ben O’Connor and Derek Gee-West are the biggest losers inside the top 10, dropping to eighth and ninth respectively, while Davide Piganzoli’s huge domestique ride for Vingegaard also moves him into the top 10 overall at 6:13. Visma now have Vingegaard in pink, Piganzoli tenth and Sepp Kuss seventeenth, underlining how strongly they controlled the day.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 14

Jhonatan Narvaez has taken over the Maglia Ciclamino by the narrowest possible margin, moving one point ahead of Paul Magnier after Stage 14. Narvaez now leads with 131 points to Magnier’s 130, turning the points classification into a genuine duel after UAE Team Emirates-XRG used the breakaway to keep him moving up the standings.
Jonathan Milan remains third on 76, but the fight for purple is now very clearly between Narvaez and Magnier. Jasper Stuyven climbs to fourth on 71, ahead of Thomas Silva, Alec Segaert and Manuele Tarozzi.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 14

Jonas Vingegaard has tightened his grip on the mountains classification after Stage 14, moving to 161 points after another dominant day in the high mountains. Behind him, the big reshuffle came from the breakaway. Jardi Van Der Lee jumps into second on 77 points, while Giulio Ciccone rockets up to third on 75 after aggressively targeting the major climbs. Felix Gall is pushed down to fourth despite rising to 72 points.
Diego Sevilla now sits fifth on 63, with Einer Rubio and Igor Arrieta also moving into serious KoM contention after taking points from the break. Vingegaard remains well clear, but the fight behind him has changed completely.
