"From doping in pills to injectable substances" in W52-FC Porto's possessions, Portuguese news outlet claims

This past weekend, Portuguese team W52-FC Porto were the target of a doping operations including 120 agents throughout several targets in the country. The team was racing the GP O Jogo at the time, and didn't take to the start of the third stage of the race - by option.

Whilst official declarations have not yet been given, news outlet Correio da Manhã has reported that "in the rooms of the athletes there was a bit of everything. From doping in pills to injectable substances, all with the goal of increasing physical resistance. A true arsenal that invites to cheating, to increase the capacity of the cyclists."

This information has not been confirmed by an official source.

What has been confirmed is that team DS Nuno Ribeiro, alongside José Rodrigues - DS of the Fortuna Maia have been released from their temporary arrest, which was based on the request to provide information to the police. Both have been prevented from taking up their current roles within the team with immediate effect.

It is an ever-evolving situation, in which updates are slowly coming being revealed by the local authorities.
