Former Vuelta runner-up Levi Leipheimer becomes new "American expert" at Tadej Pogacar's agency

Levi Leipheimer returns to the cycling world. Not as a competitor (at the age of 52), but rather in the role of a rider agent with the A&J All Sports agency led by Alex and Johnny Carera. Although his scope of responsibilities will be mostly different, the American therefore becomes a colleague of Tadej Pogacar (who is under Alex Carera's guarding hand) in a wider sense of the word.
The former runner-up at the 2008 Vuelta a Espana will above all aim to help grow the American cycling scene, a market that A&J All Sports have been entirely absent from thus far.
"This important collaboration strengthens the team’s presence and expertise within the international cycling world," reports A&J All Sports in a press release. "Thanks to his years of experience at the highest level of international cycling, Levi will serve as a key point of contact for American athletes."
Carera looks forward to Leipheimer's arrival
Superstar agent Alex Carera, who is responsible for career decisions of riders such as Tadej Pogacar and Jasper Philipsen among others, also looks forward to have the experienced American on-board:

Leipheimer is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration. "I am delighted to work with A&J All Sports, without a doubt the leading management agency. - I guess we'll see this week where MvdP stands, as he's racing the Tour of Luxembourg. That seems like better prep than hanging around Montreal for two weeks. I assume all the teams are in hotels or rented houses in the Eastern Townships, where you can find plenty of hills similar to Mont Royal. We'll see- the circuit isn't the leg breaker it once was, and it certainly isn't hard enough to force selections.megasmacky15-09-2026
