Final GC update Criterium du Dauphiné stage 8 - Tadej Pogacar wins GC ahead of Vingegaard, Lipowitz and Evenepoel

The final stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné was raced at full speed from start finish but the terrain simply wasn't hard enough to create serious differences. In the top positions of the overall classification things remained rather similar with Tadej Pogacar taking a convincing victory.

Tadej Pogacar was able to defend himself from Jonas Vingegaard in the final day's attacks and finished the race 59 seconds ahead of the Dane. Florian Lipowitz completed the podium, 2:38 minutes behind. Remco Evenepoel and Tobias Johannessen followed; Matteo Jorgenson and Enric Mas gained positions whilst Paul Seixas lost two due to his crash; Carlos Rodríguez and Guillaume Martin completed the Top10.
