During the Covid-19 pandemic, people from all over the world were forced to stay at home. Now that the world is slowly returning to its former state, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race has decided to resume this event starting in 2023. The information was shared by Velonews.
Seeing the race return makes Cadel Evans happy. "The last two years have not been easy, but thanks to the many people who have continued to work to keep our mission alive, we can welcome back old and young riders," said Evans.
Both men and women participate in the race. January 28 will be the day for the women's race, while January 29 will be the day for the men's race. Touring cyclists can also participate in a ride on January 28 called the TAC People's Ride. Belgian Dries Devenyns won the men's race in the last edition in 2020 while Liane Lippert took the stage in the women's division.
