After Tour de Pologne masterclass, Marco Brenner and Stefan Küng lead Tudor into La Vuelta

Tudor Pro Cycling Team are heading for their first Vuelta a España. They do not have the sounding names such as Julian Alaphilippe, Michael Storer and Marc Hirschi present, but the Swiss team will have a lineup with interesting weapons to chase a stage win throughout the three weeks.
The team has had a good streak in the Grand Tours thus far with Michael Storer and Mathys Rondel reaching their best form at the Giro d'Italia; and Yannis Voisard having the same at the Tour de France.

The team now comes into the Vuelta with Marco Brenner in the lead. The 23-year old has just won the team's first World Tour stage-race, conquering the overall classification of the Tour de Pologne. Earlier in the year, he was also fourth at the Tour Down Under, and has shown his specialty in the shorter climbs - although he can handle the longer efforts and time trials quite well.
Stefan Küng is the team's other big weapon, a rider who can aim for the red jersey on the race's opening day of the race. The Vuelta begins with a prologue in Monaco and Küng has just come from his first win in the jersey of Tudor in Suisse.
The lineup features plenty other stage hunters who will aim for success in the hilly days, as the team's sprinters and classics specialists have been scheduled to take part in other races. Will Barta, Arthur Kluckers, Roland Thalmann, Larry Warbasse, Fabian Weiss and Hannes Wilksch complete the lineup.
Tudor will at the same time be looking to score meaningful UCI points throughout the Vuelta, taking into consideration that according to the most recent update, the team is within the range of promotion to the sport's first division.

Over the course of his career, he has conducted approximately 100 interviews across road cycling and cyclocross, ranging from one-to-one conversations and online formats to press conferences and on-site pre- and post-race coverage. His interviews include leading riders, team managers, and prominent figures within cycling media: Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard, Mathieu van der Poel, Primoz Roglic, Wout van Aert, Joao Almeida and Tom Pidcock; managers like Patrick Lefevere and Joxean Matxin; and YouTube personality Bryan Kennedy (BKXC)...

- Some points here to consider. No matter how much money anyone makes, they are still free to decide whatever is theirs to decide. We can extend this discussion to for example, paying your taxes (in your own country). I would be interested to hear your opinion on this point which seems so relevant for someone with such an old-fashionioned opinion that I’m surprised you didn’t include it in your list of patriotic obligations. I am also quite sure that there are situations in which it becomes totally justifiable to refuse the kind of patriotism others attempt to impose on you (even if just tacitly through years of brainwashing). Now, maybe that’s hard to relate to cycling, but, having followed this exchange for a while now, it stands out to me that you are only particularly concerned about ONE person’s attitude to this and not the issue itself. It seems more like it’s just a good excuse to bash on someone you don’t like. - The backlash Jonas faces when retiring for the season, after the TdF, is abhorrent to me - for many reasons. Aside from the fact it is entirely his/his team's prerogative, the man has had 94 race days since last year's Tour, (fixed typo) more than the majority of the peloton (inc. Tadej), and has raced every consecutive GT since the 25' TdF, winning 2 of them, and coming 2nd in another. Cut the guy a damn break.anonymouscyclist18-08-2026
