Although he narrowly missed out on the stage win at the AlUla Tour on Saturday afternoon, UAE Team Emirates' Kiwi sensation, Finn Fisher-Black did enough to secure a place on the overall podium.
“I felt really good on the climb and getting the bonus seconds gave me a bit of confidence," reflected the 22-year-old post-race to UAE Team Emirates social media pages having been edged in a final sprint to the line that held the future of both the stage and the general classification.

Alongside his teammate, Rafal Majka, UAE Team Emirates and Fisher-Black seemed to have the numbers advantage against Simon Yates and William Junior Lecerf. Sadly for the duo, they couldn't use this to their benefit as Yates took the win ahead of Lecerf with Fisher-Black having to settle for third.
"I’m happy to be in a GC situation," Fisher-Black insists nevertheless. "And I think it’s a good learning experience for the future.”
