For the second straight year, Dutchwoman Fem van Empel took the win. This time around there was a clear level of difference between the 21-year-old and all her rivals as she blitzed the field to eventually take the win by 1:20 from her nearest challenger, Lucinda Brand, with Puck Pieterse completing a fully-Dutch podium.
