Stage 10 of the 2023 Tour de France was one that will surely live long in the memory. After a frantic opening hour, the high pace and the brutal heat ensured the whole day was one that was incredibly hard. Pello Bilbao took the win and moved himself right back into podium contention in the process.
Jonas Vingegaard remains in the Maillot Jaune, his lead over his arch-rival Tadej Pogacar still the same at 17 seconds despite the Slovenian trying to take the race by surprise in the opening kilometres. Jai Hindley remains on the podium in third and thanks to a lot of hard work on the front of the peloton to try and keep the gap down to the breakaway and Bilbao, INEOS Grenadiers' Carlos Rodriguez is in 4th, just 12 seconds ahead of his fellow Spaniard.
Behind Bilbao in 6th, 7th and 8th are a trio of Brits, Adam Yates, Simon Yates and Rodriguez's INEOS teammate, Tom Pidcock. David Gaudu is in 9th and will be relieved to be still in the top 10 after having been caught out early on. Sepp Kuss rounds out the top of the general classification in 10th.
