- With Redbull he has a shot at the Tour. They have Roglic as a co captain, and a group of climbers. And would put them in position to help Remco unlike the team members with him now (that includes 2 riders who are sprint spealized), meaning on a climb he is down 2 team mates to start. And with the budget they have, they can lock in even more talent I'm sure. Sodal just doesn't have the ability to help him right now. Not a really good team or help currently
- Adam BLythe is an idiot, If he attacks he is wasting energy. If he does not, this crap
- WVA has won more stages than Jonas. So he is allowed to go for stages. In return he is helping out in the mountains and other risky terrain.
- Honestly those 2 riders in front of him that caused the crash should be suspended. They were so overly aggressive battling for Trek's wheel that they didn't have control of their bike. I get there will be aggression in sprints but this was completely reckless.
- We all wish Jasper Philipsen a speedy recovery from his injury. Terrible luck to crash like that. Also, very good bike handling from Bryan Coquard, though Philipsen's crash could not be averted. I hope to see Philipsen at La Vuelta (though there won't be many chances for him). Alpecin-deceuninck must not give up, and must search for sprint wins with Kaden Groves (aswell as Van der Poel on the hilly stages)
- What an absolute disaster for Jasper and the Alpecin Deceuninck team. It can be such an unpredictable and nasty sport sometimes.
- What makes a man and his family more or less happy are very private matters. Fortunately, Jonas has already earned enough money to ensure a good life for himself and his children/grandchildren. Cycling is very risky; seeing her husband almost dead on a Spanish street must have had a great impact on Trine. Only they can decide the best balance for them: more (unnecessary) money + risk, or the money already earned + a life with less danger. What I consider wrong is EXPOSING this dilemma to the scandalous press so that everyone can pry into their private affairs. I don't understand it, especially during her husband's most important professional period.
- Time will tell
- Nothing to write home about.
Those flat stages with no (doomed to fail) breakaways and slow pace have become pointless in recent TDF editions.
- he should not have signed a long contract especially knowing hat QSt were not a GC team
