If Pog hadn't been so consistently gracious in defeat at the 2023 Tour, I wouldn't be a fan of his. But even after this Paris-Roubais, another publication wrote an article on how Pog simply enjoyed a rare reunion with his family and friends afterwards. I don't agree with his team-mates comments, though, they should rather have apologised for their fiasco.

A fool once said: “I give Almeida five stars on the favorites scale, just like Jonas Vingegaard." This is the biggest BS I've ever heard. Almeida can only clean the 🐟 bike cleats and say chapeau to him. Let me repeat myself: UAE are a little above average mediocre cycling team without Pogi. If Pogi would be in team Visma, he would be a 6X Tour winner. The only good thing in UAE is a lot of money and Pogi's trainer Javier Sola. We all saw how UAE fvcked up Pogi at Paris-Roubaix.

There's not an ounce of fat in a professional riders' body, So all that weight advantage translates to muscle strength. When Tadej first won Flanders, he was asked if Paris-Roubaix would be next. He said he'll have to gain 20 lbs more body weight to be competitive. He's not clueless.
