- Many fans were surprised, not by Wout's outstanding performance, but by Tadej's appetite to even make it a race, given that the outcome is hardly of any significance. These athletes are obliged to perform for the fans, no matter what.
- Even Tadej...WT#
Tadej chooses to take on the strong guys of the cobbled classics in Flanders and Roubaix yet MVP dodges Strade ! You're funny!

- Vingegaard is not missing from Il Lombardia and the Worlds yet. His extensive early season GC calendar features Paris-Nice and Volta a Catalunya before Il Giro and Le Tour, meaning that by the end of July he'll have done everything he needs to do for GC (i.e no Vuelta, no Tour de Pologne, no Vuelta a Burgos or Tour of Britain etc.). That allows him to experiment with onedayraces - Donostia, the Italian Autumn Classics, WCh, ECh. Whether he performs or not is the question. I believe he has the skillset to succeed if he focuses on it (he outsprinted Giulio Ciccone, who is a terrific classics rider, and his performances at the Tour's punchy stages were very impressive - Jonas is clearly not lacking punch). Whether he can use those skills effectively is the question. And no, I do not want an answer in response
- If you truly didn't care about religion, you'd simply ignore it. Religion is something which everyone chooses (you will always be a slave to something - some choose to be slaves to the merciful God, while others such as yourself appear to be slaves of their own whims, but that is a different matter) and it is not for others to choose someone's religion for them.
- Definitely a solid respectful human being. I’m a bit sad that he is past the apex of his career. I hope we at least see some occasional flashes of “peak Wout”.
- why I love WVA.
instead of bragging, or being crass - he is always a gentleman. I appreciate a rider that says he has no fear for an opponent, or someone that says their goal is to beat him now. if you go in assuming you’re going to lose, why go?
but the measured words of Wout shows respect for his opponent, the sport, etc. and then his legs did the talking. he is the best.
- I'm not a chauvinist, I'm an atheist. I don't give a f*** about religion. Capish?
- I mostly agree with you.
But in this case, I definitely don't.
I think religion is a personal thing.
And no one should be judged for their religion, whatever it is.
I think you come across as a chauvinist.
- At least WVA is an honest and sincere man, unlike his fans on this portal.
