Tadej Pogacar was once again head and shoulders above all other contenders at Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2025 soloing to a dominant win on Sunday afternoon in the Ardennes. Behind the UAE Team Emirates - XRG leader, Ben Healy was involved in the battle for the podium, eventually coming home in 3rd place at the finish line.
As they prepared for the podium ceremony afterwards in the tent however, Healy and Pogacar reunited with the Irish star of the EF Education-EasyPost star asking Pogacar a question that surely the entire peloton wants to find the answer to: "When do you retire?" Healy questions the world champion as he embraces him for a hug.
Without missing a beat, Pogacar responds brilliantly: "I have a contract until 2030. That's the year maybe," bringing both himself and Healy to laughter as they collapsed into the chair for some well-deserved rest.

Healy has to be the gamest guy in the peloton. He is always at the pointy end when things are tough, and he never throws in the towel. The break was essentially caught. Pidcock sat up, but Healy pressed on to a desperate (and apparently hopeless) surge from Ciccone. I'm so glad to see he got the podium for his initiative and courage.
