What part of "nothing against Pogi or any of the riders" do you not understand? Totally feels like you're just constantly trolling. Some people find Pogi's dominance boring because it makes them wonder why anyone should bother racing. Personally, I like Pogi, and enjoy watching him race. I think we're witnessing history. To my mind, he's the best rider the world has ever seen. I also think MvdP is one of the greatest classics riders we've ever seen, and Jonas is one of the greatest GC riders we've ever seen. The fact that Pogi conistently beats both of them just shows how great he is. But being critical of petro-states spending exorbitant amounts of money on sports teams is not the same as criticizing riders. Suggesting that spending caps might be good for parity between teams is not the same as criticizing riders. So none of this diminishes his achievements. It's obvious to everyone here that you'd be honored the hold the pan while he took a dump in it, and so I guess I sort of understand your constant knee-jerk reactions to anything that is remotely critical of anything within Pogi's field of vision. But grown-ups are capable of nuanced understanding. Guess what? It's okay to love Pogi, and still understand and acknowledge that the UAE is a shitty petro-state theocracy whose leaders abuse and suppress women. It's still okay to love Pogi, and consider that cycling might be more interesting to watch if teams like UAE and Visma didn't have unlimited budgets to surround their stars with so much talent that no one else can even get within sniffing distance of a win. I was expecting bigger gaps both yesterday and today for sure. The stage profiles seemed ideal for Pogi to take serious time, I am surprised to see Jonas right there.06-07-2026 17:40

Tadej has always been an excellent teammate, very supportive. He does seem to have a special connection with IdT, more personal somehow. It’s fun to watch.06-07-2026 05:15

Pogi is all class, on and off the bike. There are a lot of guys in the peloton who are both absolute beasts of competitors, but also thoughtful and respectful. Such a great time to be a cycling fan!03-07-2026 16:50

You’re a bleating Pogi fanboi who personally attacks other riders. Capiche?02-07-2026 02:59

Unlike many of the Pogi fanbois here, I really like Jonas a lot. And I totally understand why articles like this exist...people want to see the TdF be competitive. Foregone conclusions are boring for a lot of people. But even if Jonas is in peak form - and he looks pretty close to it - Pogacar is simply operating on a completely different level. We all might as well enjoy the upcoming demolition of the peloton by him and UAE as much as possible. It is history in the making, after all. Pogi's 2026 may go down as the most dominant year ever.26-06-2026 18:47

Pogacar is a class act, no doubt about it.26-06-2026 00:27

To be fair, doping in Armstrong's era was rampant throughout the peloton. His dominance was over other riders who had EPO coming out of their eyeballs as well. The fact that he was such a complete a**hole about it all is his to own though.24-06-2026 00:05

Well, obviously Pogi is on another level. Barring catastrophe he will easily win the tour. It’s wild, because Jonas over the past couple of years has been as far ahead of the rest as Pogi has been of him, while not on his best form. It may be that this year Del Toro MIGHT challenge Jonas, but I have a hard time seeing Remco do it. Seixas is interesting, but hasn’t demonstrated anything over three weeks, and his recent crash and sub-par performance leave a lot of question marks. It’s just crazy how good Pogi is. Jonas may eventually legitimately lay claim to being the second best GC rider in history with just two TdF wins.23-06-2026 05:40
