VIDEO: Tour de France neutralized after mass crash at start of stage 14

The Tour de France has been stopped early on stage 14, a mass crash took out plenty riders and blocked the road for most of the peloton.

Several riders have hit the deck in the first kilometers of the stage and chaos was ensured. The race was quickly neutralized because of the road block and sheer number of riders involved. Louis Meintjes and Antonio Pedrero have abandoned as a result, with the neutralization lasting over 20 minutes.

Among those affected it is said that several riders also hit the ground: Maxim van Gils, Adrien Petit, Daniel Martínez, Wilco Kelderman, Clément Berthet, Esteban Chaves, Bryan Coquard, Omar Fraile, Ion Izaguirre, Ben O'Connor, Patrick Konrad, Anthony Turgis, Chris Juul-Jensen and Vegard Stake Laengen.
