VIDEO | Jonathan Milan wins Tour de France Singapore Criterium ahead of Girmay and Philipsen

The off-season is upon the pro peloton however a few riders have made the trip to Asia over for one of the post-season Tour de France criteriums. In Singapore, a few of the world's best were present this Sunday in an exhibition criterium, and the Tour's green jersey Jonathan Milan emerged victorious.
Of course, as a non-UCI event and exhibition race, the results are often planned out before the start, but nonetheless gives cycling fans an opportunity to see their riders on screen in the deep winter period. For the fans in Singapore, it's a once-in-a-year opportunity to see many of the world's best riders, which leads to an exciting atmosphere in the circuit racing that takes place.
In this case it was Jonathan Milan who took the victory ahead of Biniam Girmay and Jasper Philipsen, in a race where the likes of Ben Healy and Primoz Roglic were also headliners and were on the attack.

In today's cycling seconds means a lot and Pogi has beaten them in their own discipline by minutes not seconds. he has gone on 50,60,80,100 km solos to win. - Polls are, by nature, popularity contests.. so why argue? For unbiased POV, per UCI world ranking, Pogacar ranks 1st with 11,600+ points.. Vingegaard is 2nd with 5900+ points, Del Toro is 3rd with 5600+ points.. MVDP is 8th with 3830+ points, behind Pedersen (5000+), Almeida (4300+), Evenepoel (4100+) and Pidcock (3880+). - yeah....but people will, polls are never what they seem. Pogi was the best rider on the roads this year any way you look at it but staunch MVDP fans will say that MSR and PR were bigger wins than any other race right through the year.. it is what it is and you can't change human nature however hard you tryslappers6608-11-2025
