With the peloton just beginning to prepare for the climbing finale of stage 2 at the 2024 Giro d'Italia, tensions are rising and the battle for position within the peloton has caused an innocuous crash in the bunch.
Among those hitting the deck, Team Jayco AlUla's general classification hopeful Eddie Dunbar and Team Visma | Lease a Bike sprint star Olav Kooij. Although both looked in pain initially, they somewhat gingerly remounted and are back onto their bike and carrying on.
