VIDEO | Another crash at Vuelta a Espana caused by protestor

The Vuelta a Espana continues to be affected by anti-Israel protests. This morning, all teams were received with 'murderers' chants in Vegadeo, and now during the stage, although there has been no presence of a large-scale protest, an individual person ran towards the breakaway group and has caused a crash.
This incident is perhaps even more unusual then those that have previously taken place in this Vuelta, and also happens after the removal of the word Israel from all the team's equipments and cars. It has made no difference as only one day later, an anti-Israel protestor, hiding in a wooded section, popped out and ran towards the breakaway group with 56 kilometers to go, tripping and falling himself. A policeman ran in direction of the protestor and the amount of swerving in the group led to a crash for a few riders, including Javier Romo who was visibly upset and also injured.
