Yet ANOTHER victory for UAE - Isaac del Toro triumphant at GP Industria & Artigianato

UAE Team Emirates - XRG are on a roll and have taken win number 81 this Sunday afternoon. Away from the Vuelta a Espana, the team continues to bring in victories, and at the GP Industria & Artigianato the Emirati team saw Isaac del Toro take his 10th win of the season, and Emirates' 81st of the team this year.

The Italian race is overshadowed by the Vuelta this Sunday but it still featured several World Tour teams who begin here a long stint of Italian one-day races. The many climbs on the day, based on a final circuit around Larciano, saw Christian Scaroni and Davide Piganzoli enter the finale in a privileged position, but they were both caught by Isaac del Toro in the final ascents, who came from the peloton.

The trio headed to the finish together but Piganzoli, without the abilities to sprint against the other two, stood no chance - and in the uphill ramp to the line it was Del Toro who had the best legs and raised his arms, beating Scaroni directly.
