Valverde and Mas lead Movistar's charge at Giro dell'Emilia.

Movistar Team are entering the final weeks of the season with more safety, having ensured their permanence in the World Tour, and they will be eyeing strong results in the Italian Autumn classics, with the Giro dell'Emilia as the next step.

Alejandro Valverde finished the Coppa Agostoni in second place, and having ridden alongside Enric Mas in the hilly race, both are also expected to be amongst the main favourites for this Saturday's race, which will also feature the likes of Tadej Pogacar, the Yates twins, Alekandr Vlasov and David Gaudu.

Some teams will come packed to the second race of this final Italian block, and the Spanish team see their lineup completed by Einer Rubio, José Joaquín Rojas, Matteo Jorgenson, Iván Sosa and Jorge Arcas.
