UCI Rankings Riders Update | Tadej Pogacar at the very top after another Liège-Bastogne-Liège win

With Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège taking place in the past week, there were lots of UCI points awarded. Tadej Pogacar had until now been in a tight battle with Mathieu van der Poel and Mads Pedersen, but that is certainly not the case anymore as he won both the Belgian Ardennes classics and is now by far the top scorer of 2025.

You can check the previous update. Tom Pidcock, Giulio Ciccone and Ben Healy also used up the Ardennes week well to score points and all are inside the Top10 when it comes to 2025.

When it comes to the overall year-long rankings however it is a very different image. Pogacar added 400 points from his Flèche victory and is well over double the points of his closest rival Remco Evenepoel. Interestingly, Mathieu van der Poel has lost his spot in the podium, now overtaken by Primoz Roglic and Wout van Aert. There are no more changes in the Top10 but we've had meaningful leaps from Giulio Ciccone (17th), Ben Healy (32nd), Thibau Nys (41st), Thymen Arensman (45th), Mauro Schmid (54th), Simone Velasco (67th), Lenny Martínez (80th) and Marc Soler (88th) all of them gaining 10 positions.
