UCI Rankings Rider Update | Remco Evenepoel, Filippo Ganna and Wout van Aert score big in Olympic time-trial

The Olympic Games' time-trial this weekend was the spotlight of the UCI points and in there we have seen a few big riders scoring big. We bring the newest update in the UCI Rankings with Remco Evenepoel coming closer to Tadej Pogacar.

You can check the previous update. In the Olympic Games, the time-trial saw Remco Evenepoel take the win and over 450 UCI points that cement his second place. Wout van Aert climbed from tenth to ninth in the rankings... Filippo Ganna remained in 30th and Joshua Tarling moved from 97th to 96th, both lost their points from first and second at last year's Tour de Wallonie and so their points in the rankings barely changed despite finishing second and fourth respectively.

Tour de Wallonie winner Matteo Trentin climbed into the Top100 with his victory and directly to 74th place whilst at the Czech Tour it was Marc Hirschi who won the overall classification but lost his position to Wout van Aert as he also lost points scored exactly one year ago.
