After Mark Cavendish and Fabio Jakobsen, the Tour de France has lost another big sprinter with Caleb Ewan pulling the plug throughout stage 13 into Grand Colombier.
The Lotto Dstny rider has once again been struggling in the climbs throughout the race, but the support of Lotto Dstny has kept him within the limit and with capacity to remain in the race. However during stage 13 the Australian was dropped in a small climb in the middle of the day and no rider from the Belgian team fell back, he abandoned the race shortly afterwards.
