The 2026 Tour de France classifications will shift across three weeks of racing, from the Grand Départ in Barcelona on 4 July to the final stage in Paris on 26 July. Across time trials, sprint stages, breakaway opportunities and the high mountains, each day can alter the shape of the race for yellow and the Tour’s other major jerseys.
This live classifications hub is updated after each stage of the 2026 Tour de France with the latest General Classification, Points Classification, Mountains Classification and Best Young Rider standings. As the race develops, it tracks the key movements in the fight for the yellow jersey, green jersey, polka-dot jersey and white jersey.
The General Classification remains the central battle of the Tour, but the wider standings often tell their own stories as the race moves through different terrain. Sprint stages can reshape the points competition, mountain days can transform the polka-dot jersey fight, and the white jersey battle can change quickly when young contenders are tested across repeated days of pressure.
With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.

General Classification Standings after Stage 5

The overall classification has not changed in Pau for the top riders, but it wasn't a calm finale. The crash-marred sprint finish saw a split in the peloton outside the final 5 kilometers. It had been unclear who was caught up, aside from the yellow jersey Torstein Traeen, who risked losing it to Sean Quinn. The gap between the two remains 28 seconds, something that will be put to the test tomorrow in Gavarnie. Mathias Vacek remains third.
Jonas Vingegaard also rushed through the finish line supported by Visma, looking to cut his potential losses after having been caught in the split. The Dutch team succeeded, and Vingegaard did not lose time to his main rivals. He remains tied in time with Tadej Pogacar, 7:53 minutes down on Traeen.
Ramses Debruyne, Remco Evenepoel, Isaac del Toro, Juan Ayuso, and Paul Seixas complete the Top 10, which may see important changes tomorrow on the first high-mountain stage of the race.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 5

It was an important day for the overall classification, as it was the race's first bunch sprint and the first day to deliver full points. Mads Pedersen remains in the lead, but his rivals have now soared up the classification. Biniam Girmay has risen to second with 79 against Pedersen's 143 - a solid lead, but one that may shorten over the coming week.
Max Kanter's intermediate and final sprints have seen him gather massive points, and with 77, he is now third. Jasper Philipsen now has 72, and Olav Kooij, who has notably not chased intermediate sprints, climbed to fifth with the 70 he won. Tim Merlier sits a little below with 55.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 5

Alex Baudin sprinted to capture 1 point this Wednesday afternoon. In the long-term, it's unlikely to affect the classification, but in the meantime, it allows the EF Education rider to remain in the lead of the KOM jersey. Alex Molenaard remains in second place.
