I don't understand why Pogi needs to do a solo attack from so far. This stage was tailormade for him to attack with about 5 km to go on the Bordighi. Why expend all that energy for no good reason. Is he just trying to show off his form to intimidate his rivals???16:48

He could possibly carry the GC hopes for TdF if Pogacar gets hurt or unable to carry on for whatever reason.14-06-2026 19:07

He thought he could do Pogacar or Vingegaard like solo performance for a huge win. Unfortunately he’s not in that kind of form. He’s probably overestimated his abilities. There is still another day to show some heroics.13-06-2026 20:51

UAE is racing Almeida for him to get back in form. Isn’t racing the best way to get there? Training can only take you so far. Nothing can imitate actual race conditions. He should stay healthy so he can contribute to UAE squad.09-06-2026 01:45

Only eight riders had won the Tour de France in their first attempt and all of them went on to become legends of the sport. Tadej Pogacar was the last one. Paul Seixas could be next one !!04-06-2026 21:37

I hear what you are saying. I don’t agree that Jonas is avoiding Pogacar and I certainly don’t agree that his victories don’t count but there is also a saying that “To be considered the best, you have to beat the best”. Jonas’s wins have come when the best cyclist was not racing. I agree that Pogacar’s spring calendar is heavy on the monuments and other one day races while JV is more focused on Tours. The most likely path they will cross each other is the TdF. If Jonas beats Pogacar in that race then he definitely is the best and his Giro victory would carry more weight than what it is currently. However, if Tadej Pogacar wins then automatically it would mean that the Giro win for JV was less meaningful.04-06-2026 04:29

The Critérium du Dauphiné was rebranded to the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes to reflect the financial support of the regional government and to better represent the race's expanded geographic footprint across central France and the Alps. The historic name referenced the "Dauphiné," an archaic province that hasn’t officially existed since the French Revolution.03-06-2026 20:05

Everyone is just hyping up the rivalry while they can. Once the TdF starts, it will be business as usual and everyone will say JV had no chance. The real competition is for second and third place. JV and Seixas will be a nailbiter.03-06-2026 14:41

Another expected result. No surprise there. The competition just isn’t there. Congratulations to JV on winning all three grand tours.30-05-2026 16:27
