Tour de France 2026 Classifications update Stage 20 - Pogacar, Pedersen, Carapaz and Del Toro virtually confirm their win

The 2026 Tour de France classifications will shift across three weeks of racing, from the Grand Départ in Barcelona on 4 July to the final stage in Paris on 26 July. Across time trials, sprint stages, breakaway opportunities, and the high mountains, each day can alter the shape of the race for the yellow and the Tour’s other major jerseys. Here we look at the race's classifications and update them daily, including the fight for the yellow jersey.
This live classifications hub is updated after each stage of the 2026 Tour de France with the latest General Classification, Points Classification, Mountains Classification, and Best Young Rider standings. As the race develops, it tracks the key movements in the fight for the yellow jersey, green jersey, polka-dot jersey, and white jersey.
The General Classification remains the central battle of the Tour, but the wider standings often tell their own stories as the race moves through different terrain. Sprint stages can reshape the points competition, mountain days can transform the polka-dot jersey fight, and the white jersey battle can change quickly when young contenders are tested across repeated days of pressure.
With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points, and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.

General Classification Standings after Stage 20
Ilan van Wilder crashed out of the Tour in the descent of the Col de la Croix de Fer, bringing to an end the pursuit of the Top10 at this Tour. No positions changed on the queen stage, something few would've expected ahead of the race.
Tadej Pogacar virtually sealed the overall classification, followed by Remco Evenepoel who is set to have his best finish ever in the overall classification.
Isaac del Toro saved his podium position, gaining time on Paul Seixas, who was his main rival for the position. Lenny Martínez, due to Tadej Pogacar's work, threatened Seixas' fourth place but ultimately gained time to save a brilliant Top5 position.
Mattias Skjelmose follows in sixth; Juan Ayuso will be seventh after his final stage attack didn't bring him gains in the GC; whilst stage winner Richard Carapaz will be finishing in eighth place. Tom Pidcock and Jordan Jegat will be closing out the Top10 just ahead of Yannis Voisard.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 20
Mads Pedersen had an incredible day on the bike and flew over the Col de la Croix de Fer to then join the day's breakaway. The Dane managed to race into first place at the intermediate sprint and his gap of 72 points over Jasper Philipsen at the end of the stage means it is mathematically impossible for the Belgian to take it back.
The Lidl-Trek rider will conquer the points classification ahead of Philipsen, Biniam Girmay, Max Kanter and Olav Kooij.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 20
The KOM classification has been won by Richard Carapaz, who on the final day joined the day's breakaway and sealed it, with Tadej Pogacar not contesting for it. 156 points, many of them won today.
Tadej Pogacar has finished second with 100 points, whilst Valentin Paret-Peintre's pursuit of the jersey ended with a third place, with 99 points - only 1 less than Pogacar.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 20
Isaac del Toro will conquer the youth classification. The final mountain stage of the race still provided some doubts in the Alps, but the Mexican rider was the strongest out of the contenders. Del Toro extended his gap over Paul Seixas, much of it due to Tadej Pogacar's work.
Seixas, Lenny Martínez, and Juan Ayuso battled for the jersey all the way to the finish of the race.

Teams Classification Standings after Stage 20
The teams' classification has also been won by Lidl-Trek, after two successful breakaways on weeks one and three. The German team had a stronger collective ultimately and no responsibility to work, meaning that today there was no closing the gap they had opened to UAE Team Emirates - XRG.
36:57 minutes over UAE is the time difference between the two teams ahead of the final stage of the race.
